It is reported that there was a blast during charging in Jio Phone. The first case of such kind has come against the delivery. A spokeswoman of the company said that it was aware of the incident. Initial investigations have found that, intentionally the phone has been damaged. Apart from reports that the Twitter account had been blasted by JIOPhone, a tweet was deleted.
According to the report, the back part of the Geo Phone was lit. Not only this, the phone's charger was also blasted. According to a photo shared by PhoneRadar, the phone's back panel and battery damaged.
Asked about the company, Reliance Retail told Spokespersons that the design and manufacturing of JIOPHONE has been done according to the Global Standard and every phone has passed into quality control process. We have been informed of this incident. Primary investigations have revealed that the phone has been deliberately damaged. This brand name may be a conspiracy to be bad. We will investigate further and take appropriate action.
It is worth mentioning that JioPhone's battery capacitance is 2000mAh, which is the highest in any feature phone available in the market.
