Tik Tok: Chinese app pouring slow poison to your child's life

During this lockdown period, everyone is just stuck to their mobile phones. Not just adults bur their children too. In India not only in urban areas, but Tik Tok is most popular among children of the village. They find this app fascinating. In search of quick popularity, many underage children use this app.
TikTok's emphasis on popular music, many videos include swearing and sexual lyrics, so it may not be age-appropriate for kids to use on their own. It's also easy to find people wearing revealing clothing and dancing suggestively, although TikTok won't let you search for objectionable content such as "sex" or "porn." If you supervise your kids and stick to songs you already know from the radio, TikTok can be a kid-friendly experience.
Smartphone vs Childhood
One day I was just walking around my village. I noticed that child life meaning has changed a lot. In our childhood, there were many games. So many games that don't need any equipment. Nowadays parents don't allow their children to play outside. In the name of smartness, they provide them a smartphone. Now this smartphone turns your child into a robot.

Slow poison to your child's life
The most popular app for your child will be Tik Tok. This Chinese app is not even allowed in their country, but our people made it most downloaded in the world. Tik Tok doesn't allow your child to choose what he/she wants to watch. Just swipe and its algorithm provide you a content automatically. This works like a poison in your child's life. Your child wants instant entertainment in his like in just 15 seconds, Just like a Tik Tok video. His thinking capacity decreases over time. After watching hours of Tik Tok video, your child is not doing any productive thing.

Parental controls on TikTok
Screen Time Management. This setting limits users to a maximum of two hours on the app per day, but you can limit it to 40 minutes. If you're only enabling this on your kid's phone, choose a passcode to lock the setting.
Restricted Mode. This blocks mature content, but even with the filter on, kids using the app on their own might come across age-inappropriate videos. Lock the setting with a passcode.
Family Pairing. This lets you control the above two settings plus disable direct messaging on your kid's account. You'll need your kid's phone to set it up. From the Digital Wellbeing screen, tap Family Pairing and sync your account to your kid's via the QR code.
Monitor your kid's activity
Other than Restricted Mode, there's no way to filter out content on TikTok, so parents are encouraged to share an account with kids under the age of 13. This will let you keep an eye on what your kid is viewing and posting. Parents of older kids who are more resistant to monitoring can ask about their favorite video creators and get to know their videos (with or without your kid). Also, take the time to regularly look at the most popular songs, videos, memes, and challenges.
